Am 60 yrs old, female and Mexican-American. At 60, found that I was unable to get a job due to "age descrimination" - does exist. Took me over a year. Decided to return to school. Taking online college courses thru Ashford University - have completed 18 units - made it on Dean's List for fall--want to be a teacher. BUT, need info on grants or scholarships - do not want loans? Help!  Yolie

Have you checked to school district and see if they have a program for you to work on or maybe you can student teach and work from that angle.

 

There is a lot of options that you can work on. But you must focus and find. You can do it.
